Westfield Theatre Boosters

The Westfield Theatre Boosters is a nonprofit (501c3) booster organization for the Westfield High School Theatre Arts Department. The group's mission is to enhance the theatre program with talent, time, and financial donations. Our membership is made up of family members of current and past Westfield Theatre students, as well as community members who are interested in supporting high school theatre.


The Boosters is managed by a six-member board made up of family members of current Westfield High School theatre students.

What do we do?

Financial Assistance

  • Large equipment purchases to benefit the school and the department

  • Costumes for all MainStage productions

  • Sets and props supplies for all MainStage productions

  • Publicity for all MainStage productions (yard signs, social media ads, etc.)

  • Scholarships for graduating senior thespians​​

Provide time

  • Assisting in building sets for all MainStage productions

  • Assisting with publicizing all MainStage productions

  • Providing lunch at all build days

  • Chaperoning field trips

  • Providing volunteers for performances to work at ticket sales, concessions, ushering

  • Costuming all actors for all MainStage productions

Become a member

Membership runs for one year from July 1 – June 30. Member dues start at $25. All membership dues are tax deductible – we provide a tax receipt. Members with current Westfield High School students will receive voting privileges for Booster activities and budgeting. All members are recognized in the Playbill for all MainStage productions. All donations go toward augmenting the budget of the theatre department.

Recent Contributions 

  • $12,000 toward the purchase of two new large speakers for the auditorium. These replaced speakers that were almost 25 years old.

  • $5,000 for the purchase of new wireless microphones for actors

  • $3,000 for the purchase of a new Telex wireless communication system.

  • $4,000 for the purchase of a MacBook for the sound team to use with the sound board for performances.

  • And, upcoming, $4,000 to support the installation of a short throw projector in the auditorium. This will enable the department to use projections in set design.

  • $7,000 in scholarships for the Class of 2024.
